One of Alabama’s U.S. Attorneys is creating a “Police Shooting Advisory Council.” U.S. Attorney for the northern district of Alabama, Jay Town, announced the formation of an independent shooting review advisory council.
Town hopes the council can provide guidance to law enforcement when an officer-involved shooting demands an independent review.
