The UAH men and women’s basketball teams picked up some important mid season victories against Delta State Thursday at Spragins Hall.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville women’s basketball team picking up a big conference win on Thursday, knocking off visiting Delta State by a final score of 55-51 at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall. UAH improves to 8-8 (4-5 Gulf South Conference) with the win, while DSU dips to 14-3 (7-3 GSC).
Aryn Sanders led the Chargers offense with a 24-point performance on 10-of-17 shooting from the floor that included a 2-for-3 mark on three-pointers.
-Sanders also posted a game-high four steals while grabbing four rebounds to rank tied for third on the squad.
