Teen cyber genius interning for State

A 16-year-old cyber genius is interning with the State of Alabama and he’s getting the opportunity of a life time.

A 16-year-old cyber genius is interning with the State of Alabama and he’s getting the opportunity of a life time. 

He’s 16 years old, a high schoolgraduate and he’s interning during his sophomore year of college with state cybersecurity experts. 

His name is Talmage Kelley.

He has a plan for his life to be a contractor for the state and federal government, but right now he’s interning with Alabama’s Office of Information Technology.

Kelley is working in what’s referredto as the SOC (Security Operations Center) which is overseen by Ryan Allen. 

Allen was a little concerned aboutKelley’s youth, but not says he’s done a spectacular job.

Kelley maybe the youngest internbut he’s not the only one. He’s joined by other future cyber securityexperts.

The department uses the internship a recruitment tool in hopes thestudents will come back and work for the state.
