Police say the teen who was involved in the crash that killed Rod and Paula Bramblett not only had marijuana in his system, but was also speeding.
Taylor is facing two charges of manslaughter.
Police say 16-year-old Johnston Taylor was going was going 90 miles an hour in the 55 mile per hour zone when he crashed into the couple’s SUV.
Taylor told police he fell asleep at the wheel and the report shows he did not brake. Taylor was booked into the Lee County Detention Center and later released on bond.
No court date has been set.
