Saturday Scientist at the Space and Rocket Center

This month, be a Saturday Scientist and design, build and test a lunar module at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

Head to the Space and Rocket Center on the second Saturday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for the Saturday Scientist Series, featuring hands-on activities recommended for ages 6-9.

This month on March 9, kids can design, build and test a lunar module.

Activities are included with museum membership or paid admission and emphasize “STEAM” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education with topics like solar energy, precipitation, geology of space, and chemistry.

Seating for Saturday Scientist is limited. Museum guests and members may reserve their seat at the main ticket desk upon arrival.

Seats fill up quickly, so please arrive as early as possible in the day to reserve yours!
