UPDATE (11/19/19): Huntsville Police say they are investigating the case. They found no physical evidence at the scene, but went over the area to swab for any traces of DNA.
The woman was sent to Crisis Services for a sexual assault exam. The alleged assault occurred on Oct. 24 at 1:30 p.m.
Officers are periodically patrolling the area.

In a Facebook post Monday, Nov. 18, the Land Trust of North Alabama stated they found out about an alleged sexual assault that happened at the preserve and reached out to police about what they could do to make preserves safer.
