AUBURN, Ala. (WIAT) — A recent police report revealed more details into the car crash that killed Auburn sports broadcaster Rod Bramblett and his wife, Paula.
According to the report, the driver of the vehicle that struck the Bramblett’s vehicle “fell asleep” at the wheel and does not remember the crash.

The Brambletts were waiting in their car when the driver struck into them, pushing the Bramblett’s vehicle into the pedestrian crossing signal and a traffic light pole before coming to a stop.
The driver is listed as a juvenile.
