Qantas Airlines will soon test out three 19 hour flights from New York City and London to Sydney.
The research flight is aimed to see if passengers and crew can handle the grueling length of the flight. Qantas is looking to begin these non-stop flights to London and New York from Sydney in 2022.
If launched, this would become the world’s longest commercial non-stop flight, surpassing the nearly 19 hour Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore to New York.
