HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — All eyes are on Super Tuesday tonight. Earlier today some people voted at First Baptist Church on Governor's Drive.
Alabama is one of the 14 states voting in today's primary. On the ballot are presidential candidates, delegates, and state-wide and local seats that are up for grabs.
We caught up with one first-time voter, who is excited to vote in the state primary.
"It's been an amazing experience for me. I've been waiting for this moment for a long, long time. Being a new citizen of the United States, this means a lot to me. So it's been an honor to come here today and cast my vote, hoping to make a change," Kawthar Slaitane-Pottenger.
Polls are open until 7 p.m.
