North Alabama theft ring investigation leads to 4 arrests

Huntsville Police issued warrants and made arrests in an extensive burglary and theft investigation.

The Huntsville Police Department, along with the Madison Police Department, Tennessee Valley RCFL and the Madison County District Attorney’s Office served six search warrants Wednesday, July 10, regarding an extensive burglary and theft investigation.

Police report the warrants were executed on 4 houses and 2 storage units within the City of Madison, Huntsville, and both Madison and Limestone Counties. A large amount of stolen property totaling approximately $100,000 was recovered during the search warrants.

According to police, the theft ring involved shoplifting from home improvement stores and then selling the products to individual buyers, mainly for cash. During the search warrants’ execution, the pictured items were identified by several of the stores as stolen items.

The property included mostly brand new and name brand-type merchandise from different businesses. Items included power tools, lawn equipment, battery powered tools and accessories and many other expensive equipment.

The investigation yielded 4 arrests with over 20 felony charges. The investigation is continuing and will possibly yield more arrests. It is important to not that this ring was believed to extend through Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia.

Police arrested Nadia Deylami, 27, Navid Mahdavimeighan, 28, Jordan Robinson, 21, and Jarqaius Robinson, 20. Deylami and Mahdavimeighan were charged with one count each of 1st degree Theft of Property and 1st degree Buying – Receiving Stolen Property. Jordan Robinson was charged with 9 counts of 1st degree Theft of Property. Jarqaius Robinson was charged with 8 counts of 1st degree Theft of Property and arrested for several Traffic Warrants.
