On Newsfeed Now for April 23, our conversation started with a controversy for Louisiana State University after the Lady Tigers came in second at the national gymnastics championship. The school put up a billboard to congratulate the team but were told it’s not supposed to be done. WVLA’s Crystal Whitman was with us from Baton Rouge to share fan reaction.

Tuesday’s other stories with scroll to times:

5:40 – Where to ‘go’ during the NFL Draft: Hundreds of portable toilets are expected in downtown Nashville as tens of thousands descend on Broadway and Nissan Stadium. WKRN’s Brie Thiele told us crowds numbering 100,000 a day are expected for the football fun.

10:30 – Memphis church has a message for you ‘mane’. Billboards are supposed to grab your attention, but a church pastor is using them to sell a path to salvation with a local term many identify with. WATN’s Rudy Williams joined us with more on the story.

16:10 – Boy with Asperger Syndrome takes virtual school. Those with Asperger Syndrome can experience hypersensitivities to lights and sounds and have difficulties with social interactions. That’s why an online option is the solution for a Louisiana 11-year-old who attends class through a webcam. KLFY’s Tracy Wirtz gave us insight on how it all works.
