On Newsfeed Now for Feb. 28, leading the discussion was an Arkansas church’s apology over its marquee sign that stated “Heaven has strict laws, hell has open borders.” Apostolic Faith Church reacts to the criticism it created by saying “that’s not the way we meant it.” KNWA’s Kelly O’Neil shared the updated story.

At 4:30 into the show we turned to a parental warning that’s sweeping the internet on the heels of a dangerous viral game purported to be targeting children via YouTube videos. We brought in KLFY’s Tracy Wirtz to tell us about the “Momo challenge.”

Up next, at 10 minutes into the show we traveled to Kansas for some inspiration. A crime victim who survived being shot but had to have her hands and feet amputated due to her injuries has survived another health battle. KSNW’s John Asebes introduced us to Julie Dombo and the strategy she used to put a cancer diagnosis behind her.

Our last topic, at 14 minutes into the show took us to Foley, Alabama to meet a family whose love for one another is being rewarded. A school teacher who kept a promise and took in her sister’s child after she died in an accident will be taking the whole family to Disney World thanks to a special surprise arranged for them by friends.
