New evidence was presented in the case of a retired NASA astronaut involved in a crash that killed two girls.
Former Space Shuttle commander James Halsell was charged for driving under the influence in a 2016 crash that killed two young sisters in Tuscaloosa County, but his lawyers argue that he wasn’t under the influence and filed the test results yesterday.
Instead, they’re saying the crash happened because of sleep medication.
Halsell is set to go on trial March 9th.
