The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that one of their K9 officers passed away.
They say K9 Deputy Knox passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly, in his sleep. Knox served alongside his partner Corporal Porter since fall of 2014 and was named after former Morgan County Sheriff Knox McRae.
