A local church is partnering with Madison County Schools to give back to people in need Saturday, Aug. 10.
Refuge Church will be at Harvest Elementary Saturday morning, Aug. 10 with a mobile food pantry to give away about 20,000 pounds of food. Food distribution will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Free haircuts and free clothing will also be available at Harvest Elementary, and a medical unit from Huntsville Hospital will also be set up at the school.
Volunteers are needed for this event. If you’re interested in volunteering, please arrive at Harvest Elementary by 8:00 a.m. Volunteers are asked to park further out in the gravel parking lot to the right of the school so food recipients can park closer to the school.
