You’ll have the rare chance on Monday to watch Mercury glide across the sun.
It’s called a transit and it only happens about 13 times per century. On Monday, Mercury will look like a tiny black dot on the sun starting at around 7:35 a.m. Eastern.
By the way, you’ll need binoculars or a telescope. And please, don’t look directly at the sun! You can damage your eyes.
You can check out images and videos of it on NASA’s website.
