Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at Pool Farm Equipment in Town Creek on Sept. 11 where the owner, Norman Pool, reported that a gate had been busted down and a white 2000 Ford F-350, several tools, and a 504R Classic Vermeer hay baler were stolen.

The truck was found in Franklin County on Sept. 15 by a sheriff’s deputy and a tip given to Rogersville Police Chief Tully led to the recovery off Old Chisolm Road in Florence.

Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell said that investigators have talked with several people who have given statements concerning the theft, and wanted to thank Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Rogersville Police Department, and Florence Police Department for their assistance in this case.
