The Madison County Commission has plans to extend Jordan Road to Highway 72 in Northeast Madison County to relieve congestion at a nearby “dangerous intersection.”
Madison County Commissioner Craig Hill says he’s putting your concerns about public and road safety into action.
The Commission is working along with the Alabama Department of Transportation on the project. Hill says the intersection is very dangerous.
“I was elected to represent the people of my area,” says Hill. “They’re concerns and they’re needs. I often hear from my constituents about the lack of safety at Ryland Pike. I wanted to act quickly and more importantly, with an effective solution.”
The project is expected to take several months from start to completion. The county is in the property acquisition phase in an effort to get the project moving.
