Downtown Rescue Mission will be distributing holiday meal-kits ahead of Thanksgiving on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.
The mission is holding two days in which you can register to pick up a meal-kit, one on Thursday, Nov. 12, and the other on Friday, Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The registration will be a drive-thru event in which volunteers bring you a sign-up sheet that must be returned on Nov. 23 or Nov. 24 to claim a "turkey box."
The boxes will contain a free turkey and traditional Thanksgiving sides, like stuffing and cranberry sauce.
