HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The holidays are quickly approaching, believe it or not, and everyone deserves a Thanksgiving meal to celebrate the holiday. Below we've compiled a list of places that are offering free meals or deals to the community to celebrate the holiday.

Huntsville: On Wednesday and Thursday, November 24 and 25, 2021, the Downtown Rescue Mission will host its annual ‘Great Thanksgiving Banquet.’ The banquet will be held at the Mission, located at 1400 Evangel Drive, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on both days. This banquet is open to anyone in need who would like to have a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The meal will be a ‘traditional’ one – turkey, stuffing, cranberries, vegetables and of course pumpkin pie. There are expected to be 100 volunteers on hand to help serve the lunch on Wednesday and Thursday.
