Some local ABC stores are closing temporarily due to safety concerns

Several ABC stores in the Tennessee Valley will close at the end of business of March 17 until further notice, with reduced hours at remaining stores

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — For the protection of its customers and workers, the ABC Board says that it's closing a number of its stores and reducing hours of the remaining stores. It's also changing how customers shop to reduce exposure for everyone in the stores.

New rules are:

- No more than 5 customers in the store at any given time.
- Customers may not pull their own product. You'll give your order to a staff member, who will pull it and bring it to the counter for checkout.
- You're asked to pay with a credit card, if possible. If you need to use cash, place the requested amount on the counter and staff will return your change in the same manner.
- Employees will be required to wear gloves. Masks are optional, at this time.

These are the stores closing in the Tennessee Valley. Stores remaining open will be open from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m.
