BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Communications Director for Senator Doug Jones’ Washington Office confirmed Wednesday that he will run for re-election in 2020.
Jones defeated Roy Moore in the senate race Dec. 12, 2017 to become the traditionally red state’s first Alabama Democrat elected to the Senate victory in a quarter-century.
Shy of one year since, Jones looks to keep his seat in the U.S. Senate.
