A Queenpreneur's Plan uplifts local women

A Huntsville woman is trying to help others in the community who are looking to transfer out of their corporate jobs to become entrepreneurs.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A Huntsville woman is trying to help others in the community who are looking to transfer out of their corporate jobs and work as an entrepreneur.

Latoya Whitfield is the founder of ' A Queenpreneur's Plan',  a group of two hundred women across the Tennessee Valley who help to uplift each other.

Whitfield says, "One of the things I focus on is money mindset, and money mindset seems to be the reason why women don't become as successful in their businesses. A lot of the times, they're concerned about what's going on to the left or the right of them instead of their business. So when they come into this organization we teach them. "

This weekend, the group is having an event to learn more about how to prepare their businesses for the holidays.
