MACON, Ga. — Just in time for the holidays, we at 13WMAZ wanted to share some of our favorite holiday recipes with you!
For this episode, Rosa Medina prepared Birria tacos, one of her favorite dishes for Thanksgiving.
She works at Tapatio Mexican Restaurant and has been helping cook there with her family ever since the place opened back in 1999.
Their business is located at 600 Vineville Street in Fort Valley. It’s been a part of the community for 20 years.
To start this dish, you need lots of beef chuck. Medina says 3 to 4 pounds of it should feed your family with plenty for everyone.
If you want to add more or less spice to your tacos, you can adjust the pepper ratios to taste based on your preference.
