HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Oakwood University released its plans to reopen for fall 2020 on Wednesday, July 8.
"The Fall 2020 semester at 'the Oaks' will be clearly different from previous fall semesters. The 'new normal' will affect everything from how we conduct intramurals to how we stagger dining hall entry. The university will continue to identify medically-appropriate measures for the protection of the most vulnerable and those at greater risk within our community. Oakwood University’s August reopening plan is dynamic," said Oakwood University President Leslie Pollard.
The plan details procedures for how the university plans to safely reopen the campus, including how it plans to move students into residence halls, sanitation protocols and mask requirements.
