Make a child’s Christmas special by donating to Toys for Tots at Parkway Scrubs in Huntsville Wednesday until 6 p.m.
It’s the last day they’re collecting toys there, but you can still find the Toys for Tots boxes around town. The program through the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve gives thousands of children in the Tennessee Valley a merry Christmas.
“As a grandma and seeing kids in the past that didn’t have anything, I just have been inspired every year to do this,” said Sheila Dacosta with Parkway Scrubs. “We should do our best to give at least one little toy, no matter how much the value is, to make these kids’ dreams come true for Christmas.”
Toy distribution will start on the 14th. Boxes will be out through the 12th. You can also donate online through the website here.
