Organizers say the workshops include topics such as self-awareness and career exploration, as well as how to gain valuable work experience. Career Services representatives will provide each person who completes the workshop with the resources to develop a personalized action plan that will help get them started and keep them on track.

Kelli Morris, Calhoun Community College Director of Career Services, says many people struggle to answer basic career questions, like what industry best suits their personality and if they want to change careers, what should they do next? She says, "These questions remain unanswered among many job seekers, as well as individuals in career fields in which they aren’t happy."

If you can't get to one of the workshops, you can schedule a virtual appointment with one of the College’s career advisors.
