Operation Gratitude delivered the goodie bags, which included cards and letters from all over the country.

MADISON, Ala. — It's National Police Week, and the Madison, AL Police Department received a really big care package.

According to their Facebook post, the department got a delivery from Operation Gratitude containing over 300 pounds of personal care items and goodies, including Girl Scout cookies, candy, coffee, hand cream, lip balm, nutritional supplements, and more.

But they said the best part was, "Letters and cards of thanks and encouragement from all over the country!"
