Madison firefighters give virtual fire truck tour

Firefighters are teaching people how their trucks operate on Facebook.

Madison Fire & Rescue isn't letting the quarantine stop them from interacting with the public.

Firefighters in Madison are taking to Facebook to give tours of their fire trucks. During the Facebook lives, firefighters teach viewers about what it's like to be a firefighter and how their trucks operate.

They also give tips, like how to keep you and firefighters safe when they're responding to emergency calls.

Zac Tanner with Madison Fire & Rescue said, "We see a lot of people do a lot of different things such as stopping where they're at, moving to the left, but we want everyone to move to the right."

They're planning more virtual tours over the next couple weeks. Keep up with them on Facebook to find out when the next one will be.
