Madison City Schools begins returning students to school in phases

Madison City Schools Superintendent Ed Nichols said the district is monitoring the COVID-19 situation daily.

MADISON, Alabama — Madison City Schools is beginning its three-phased return to schools for students on September 8.

Starting on Tuesday, MCS elementary students will return to their classrooms. Middle school students will return on September 14 and high school students will return on September 21.

Madison City Schools Superintendent Ed Nichols said the district is monitoring the COVID-19 situation daily and will provide updates on information they receive from the Alabama Department of Public Health.
