The city said this program is aimed at improving the quality of stormwater runoff through the removal of contaminants from the street. Leaves, grass clippings, trash and fertilizers should be kept away from all ditches. Additionally, the city said you should never dump motor oil, chemicals, pet waste, dirty or soapy water, or any other contaminants into a storm drainage system.
