Farmers Market

The market is open on Saturday 8:00 a.m to noon at Trinity Baptist Church

Madison City Farmers Market is the area’s original local, producer-only farmers market, founded in 2007. Everything sold at the market is grown or crafted by local farmers and craftspeople.

Our vendors provide a wide selection of the freshest local veggies, fruits, cheese, eggs, meats, milk, herbs, honey, jams, relishes, home-baked goods, plants, and flowers.

Butterfly Release 

There will be two butterfly releases at the Huntsville Botanical Garden on July 10.

Guests of all ages will enjoy sharing in the magic of safely releasing live butterflies into the Purdy Butterfly House. This program begins with a brief presentation about butterflies and their habitat, followed by taking part in the safe restoration of our indoor butterfly population. Don’t forget your camera – these photo opportunities are not to be missed!

Butterfly Releases take place throughout the summer, and each program lasts approximately 30 minutes. Registration is required, and space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today!

Scubadiving class

Saturday, July 10, Southeastern Divers Incorporation,  will host a beginner scuba class in Huntsville at 9:00 a.m.
