Southeast Family YMCA holding silent auction benefitting community

The YMCA will announce winners on Monday, October 18.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Southeast Family YMCA in Huntsville is holding a silent auction from October 11 through October 18 to raise money for the YMCA's giving campaign.

According to the Southeast Family YMCA, the giving campaign helps support people within the community. The auction will be held in the YMCA's front lobby and will be open to both members and non-members.

The YMCA will announce winners on Monday, October 18. Some of the items being auctioned include the following:

  • Six Adult Tickets to the Montgomery Zoo
  • Two, one-year unlimited admissions to Florence Arts & Museums
  • Two passes to the Tennessee Aquarium
  • Original Artwork
  • And much more

Additionally, the Southeast Family YMCA is hosting a "Halloween Dance Glow Party" on October 15. ZUMBA and WERQ instructors will lead participants through various dance routines and there will be a performance from the YMCA's Adult Dance class later in the evening.

People are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to the event. YMCA members are free at the and non-members are encouraged to donate $10.
