HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Usually, a late night call to the police department is from someone in need to help.
That wasn't the case with this call to the the Huntsville Police (West Precinct). When they arrived to the neighborhood, they found a blue-light tribute.
The pictures showed the neighborhood with blue lights on to honor officers. Police said, "West Precinct Third Shift Officers received an unusual call last night. It wasn’t a call of distress. It’s wasn’t a call of a citizen in need. But it was a call that was definitely unexpected. As Officers arrived they were greeted by an entire neighborhood of homes lit in blue. An entire neighborhood showing their support for law enforcement.To them, we say thank you."
