Huntsville Museum of Art's Skating in the Park returns for 2021

The popular winter activity is open in Big Spring Park from Nov. 19 to Jan. 17.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Grab a jacket and lace up your skates because the Huntsville Museum of Art's Skating in the Park is back for another season.

The family-friendly ice rink is back in Big Spring Park from November 19 through January 17. You can find the ice, as well as skate rentals and refreshments, behind the Huntsville Museum of Art. Besides skating, there will be special DJ nights and a "Turkey Bowl" on December 12.

  • Monday – Thursday: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Friday: 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • $15 Ages 10 & up (includes skate rental)
  • $10 Ages 9 and under (includes skate rental) 
  • $13 Groups of 10 or more (includes skate rental) 
  • $5 Scooter rental
  • $5 Discount if you bring your own skates
  • 10% Discount at the Museum Store when you show your skating wristband
