Huntsville, Madison City municipal candidate forum to be held Aug. 11 and 12

Municipal elections will be held on August 25 and normal polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A municipal candidate forum is being held for Huntsville and Madison city municipal elections on August 11 and August 12.

On August 11, Huntsville mayoral candidates will speak at 6 p.m. and Madison city mayoral candidates will speak at 7:30 p.m.

On August 12, Huntsville City Council candidates for districts one and five will speak at 6 p.m. and Madison City Council candidates for districts one through six will speak at 7:30 p.m.

The event will be held virtually and you can register to access the zoom link by clicking here. Additionally, the events will be streamed on Facebook Live.

Municipal elections will be held on August 25 and normal polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the American Association of University Women, The League of Women Voters and United Women of Color.
