Adopt a shelter pet to be your "study buddy"

Save a life! Adopt a shelter pet.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Just in time for back-to-school, Huntsville Animal Services is offering you the chance to get a study-buddy or new best friend for a reduced adoption fee.

Adoption fees have been reduced to $5 to $15., with some exceptions. Each adopted animal receives a free bag of pet food and is microchipped for pet identification, spayed or neutered, and vaccinated. 

Visit the shelter Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4950 Triana Boulevard in Huntsville.

The Shelter is following COVID-19 precautions of sanitation, masking and distancing guidelines to keep everyone safe.
