Lend a helping hand this 'Giving Tuesday'!

United Women of Color Huntsville has a goal of $1,000.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Looking for a way to give back this Giving Tuesday? United Women of Color Huntsville is a non-profit organization and needs your help.

The group's mission is to empower women, girls, and their families. They have a goal of $1,000.

This money will go toward programs including mentorship and a digital platform for mock interviews.

Executive Director Angela Curry says it's important to support local organizations.

"We are hyperlocal and we're on the ground, so we get to interface one on one with individuals and families. So it's very important to support non-profit organizations so that the needs of the entire community can be met in a variety of ways," said Curry.
