Fourth of July celebrations in North Alabama

Grab your masks, remember to social distance, and enjoy July 4 celebrations.

COVID-19 isn't stopping July 4 celebrations, although they may look a little different this year.

Athens: Red, White & Boom: Drive-In Edition - Athens Fireworks Show  At the Athens Stadium (100 U.S. Highway 31N in Athens).
No stadium seating.   Viewable from adjacent properties including Central Church of Christ, Athens Shopping Center, Athens High School.  Please respect private property and traffic right of ways.   Please remain in your vehicles and enjoy the firework show after dark provided by Athens-Limestone County Tourism, City of Athens and Limestone County Commission. Huntsville-Midcity: Independence Day Celebration: Fireworks, Drive-in, Watermelon Carving, and more.
This year may look a little different, but we can still celebrate safely! Join MidCity District on Saturday, July 4th, 2020 from 11:00 am - 11:00 pm for TONS of FREE, family-friendly activities! Movie, Fireworks viewing, and parking are FREE. Make sure to support more events like this by purchasing your food and beverage from our on-site vendors!

SCHEDULE:
11:00 am : Doors open for food and beverage at The Camp
3:00 pm : Deadline to bring your CARVED Watermelons to The Camp for judging to begin (no carving on-site and grand prize announced soon!)
5:30 pm : Gates open for movie parking
7:00 pm : Band begins (announced soon!)
8:15 pm : Film begins, Jurassic Park (PG-13)
10:30 pm : FIREWORKS BEGIN!!!

COVID-19 precautions: Practice 6 ft. social distancing, masks or bandanas to be worn when you step away from your immediate group, use sanitizing stations provided throughout the venue.

Madison: July 3: Rocket City Trash Pandas Block Party with Fireworks
Kick off Independence Day weekend with live entertainment, music, fireworks, American Legion baseball, and delicious ballpark fare for you to enjoy with family and friends! Admission is $10 per person, Kids 2 & Under do not require a ticket, and parking is free. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Gates open at 5PM! Trash Pandas Nation full season ticket holders have the opportunity for early access through the Trustmark VIP Lobby from 4:30pm - 5pm.

Madison: July 4: Fourth of July Patriotic Extravaganza 
Event will feature on-field inflatables, carnival games, and axe throwing.  Live music and entertainment will be on display from 4:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Toyota Field. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in special attractions like a bungee trampoline jump, a giant Swing, and an on-field train ride for an additional $3 per ride. Classic on-field activities and contests are also planned for kids including Potato Sack Races, Apple Pie Eating, and more. Sprocket is also scheduled for various appearances throughout the event.

Select Food Trucks will be on-site, which along with classic Ballpark Fare, is available for purchase. Additional checkout points have been installed throughout the facility to ensure timely service. Trash Pandas Catering will also debut specialty items like the ‘Merica Dog and the Sweet ‘n Cheesy Squealer.

The evening will culminate with the biggest fireworks in the Metro.

Madison County: Drive-up Cinema July 4th Weekend
Madison County and Surrounding Areas you are invited to the July 4th Movie Celebration!
This event is a socially distant pop up movie experience. When guests pull up, they will be guided through an amazing movie experience all from the safety of their car. Family fun, aamazing food, and great entertainment! 

Guntersville: The River Rocks Plantation Resort will launch fireworks Saturday night starting at 8:45 PM. Resort officials are asking guests to social distance and follow the COVID-19 guidelines. You can watch from your boats or at the levee but make sure to keep a six foot distance.
