Arrest made in Florence murder investigation

Police have a suspect in custody in connection with the death of 48-year-old Patrice Lott.

FLORENCE, Ala — UPDATE: According to Florence police, a man is in custody in connection with the death of Patrice Lott.

On March 5, 2021, Roydricker Lamar Bullock (01/26/1985) was arrested for the murder of Patrice Denice Lott. The United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force assisted in locating and arresting Bullock at his residence in Greene County Alabama. He will be transferred to the Lauderdale County Detention Center where he will be held on a $150,000 bond.

The Florence Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation into the death of a 48-year-old woman.

Police say they responded to a call for medical assistance in the 800 block of North Royal Avenue in Florence when they found a woman dead inside the residence.

The woman has been identified as 48-year-old Patrice Denice Lott. 

Police said Lott's family last spoke to her on Friday, February 12. Lott's body was discovered when family members came to her residence to check up on her.
