Missing Florence teenager found unharmed.

FLORENCE, Ala. — UPDATE: Florence police reported that Abbygail Rayne Moody has been found unharmed.

According to Florence Police:

"On April 17, 2021, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Abbygail Moody was located unharmed after a lengthy investigation involving multiple city, state and federal agencies. The Florence Police Department would like to thank the FBI Birmingham, FBI North Alabama Violent Crimes Taskforce, FBI Dallas/Tyler Resident Agency, The Corinth Police Department and ALEA, (Alabama Law Enforcement Agency), for their all their help in recovering Abbygail safely. Also a thank you to all the citizen who kept an eye out for Abbygail. The family sends their appreciations to all of you."

Abbygail was reported missing on April 15.


The Florence Police Department is looking for a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen on April 15.

Police say 13-year-old Abbygail Rayne Moody left her residence on April 15 and has not yet returned. The direction she is traveling is unknown.

Police described Moody as approximately 5-feet-1-inch tall and 100 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
