FLORENCE, Ala. — The Better Business Bureau of North Alabama is hosting a "Shred Day" in Florence on April 23 to provide residents an opportunity to safely dispose of sensitive documents.
This free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum, located at 702 Veterans Drive.
The event will feature two document shredding trucks on site. Participants are limited to three bags or boxes per vehicle. Only paper documents will be accepted. Participants are asked to remove all other materials.
The event will be held as a drive-thru in which drivers remain in their vehicles to assist social distancing efforts.
