Alabama linen company now making masks for UAB and nationwide needs

Some of the women stitching and sewing are 80-90 years old.

ALABAMA, USA — Red Land Cotton, an Alabama company that makes linens, towels and loungewear, is now making masks for the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and any other company that makes a request.

The company is partnering with Heidi Elnora, a wedding dress designer, to provide fabric, stitching and a team to make masks for all those in need.  

They sent samples to UAB and UAB made an order. These masks are options if they do not have the N95 masks or medical grade masks.
