All kinds of folks were out at this year's Huntsville Christmas Parade

From nonprofit groups to celebrity impersonators, there was no shortage of fun, festivities and the Christmas spirit at this year's annual parade.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The highly anticipated 8th Annual Mix 96.9 Von Braun Center Downtown Huntsville Christmas Parade featured over 80 quality floats, animals, and marching bands; ensuring that all different kinds of groups and people were out celebrating downtown... like local children's theatre group, Around the Curtain: "We're having a great time and we're just promoting the new theater company. It just started last year." 

Not only did the group wish everyone at home a Merry Christmas! They also have an upcoming show they'd like to mention. 

"Uncle Phil's Diner! Uncle Phil's Diner! Yeah,  it's an interactive dinner theater next weekend at Holy Spirit Catholic School's Auditorium... Y'all need to come watch us! It's gonna be so fun!"

Another local nonprofit organization that was in attendance was The Cotton Candies!

The Cotton Candies are a diverse marching krewe that encourages empowerment and self-confidence through performing, while also raising funds for local charities.

"We love Huntsville. We're from Huntsville, the Madison area and we love to give back as much as possible. But we also like to show people that you can have fun while giving back. So every year... If you see this pink group... Just know that we are about having fun and we love everyone!"

The Cotton Candies were wearing their signature all-pink attire and also wished all of you at home a very Merry PINK Christmas!

The King of Rock 'N' Roll himself was also in attendance, FOX54 Reporter, Nixon Norman stopped and chatted with him: 

"Guess what? Look, it's not raining," said Elvis. 

"Literally a Christmas miracle!" said Norman. 

"A miracle! And it's not freezing cold either... And we're in December, so, hey, what more could you ask for?" said Elvis.

'What do you want for Christmas this year?" asked Norman.

"I guess, it's got to be a new Cadillac. Got to be a new Cadillac," said Elvis. 

"Do you think you're on the naughty or the nice list?" asked Norman. 

"Probably. Probably, probably. You want me to be honest?" said Elvis. 

"Yeah," answered Norman. 

"Naughty," said Elvis. 

"I think me too. (Both laugh) Okay, give the people at home a Merry Christmas!"
