A house panel voted on Thursday to subpoena 12 people as part of an ongoing investigation into whether President Trump obstructed justice or otherwise abused his office.
They include his son-in-law Jared Kushner and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
The vote was the latest in a battle between the Democratic-led chamber and the White House over multiple probes of his administration.
