Hundreds of North Alabama high school students got a chance to chat with local businesses about job opportunities today.
Calhoun Community College hosted the career and workforce expo. Students got to walk around to different booths and see the different jobs available in the Tennessee Valley. The expo is put on every year to provide more information and pique the interest of high schoolers.
Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce President, Jennifer Williamson, said, “They can start thinking about their career paths and their education requirements and the skills that they need for those jobs.”
