If you encounter any problems at a polling place, there are voting complaint forms.

Voters can ask an election worker or inspector for the form, and voters can take the form with them. It would have to be filled out, notarized and mailed to the Secretary of State’s office.

Marshall County Probate Judge Andrea Lecroy says there is also assistance for people with disabilities.

“We have went out and tried to make to the best of our ability those improvements for someone with a wheelchair or a walker. Then also once they get in, they can have someone to assist them with filling out their ballots if they prefer that. Or, if they do not want someone to assist them, we have a device – it’s called an AutoMark, and it’s a ballot-marking device. Anyone that’s vision-impaired or hearing-impaired,” said Lecroy.

Voters are required to bring a form of I.D. Anyone who doesn’t have I.D., can get a free voter photo I.D. at the board of registrars.
