Decatur police are no longer looking for Johnny Darryl Strong in connection with a shooting.
According to Decatur Police, the victim from last weekend’s shooting has recanted his official statement regarding the actions of the suspect, Johnny Darryl Strong, and is not cooperating with law enforcement at this time.
Because the victim had previously confirmed the alleged ID of the shooter numerous times to both law enforcement officers and medical personnel, a warrant has been obtained for the victim for the charge of falsely reporting information to a law enforcement officer. The bond for the charge is $300.
