Wedding planning tips for couples amid COVID-19

One tip includes getting in contact with your wedding venue to talk about future available dates

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — If you're a couple planning your wedding and are now in a bind, here are some tips for you.

Helping Hand Parties and Weddings advise you to:

1. Get with your fiance and decide how you want to move forward.

2. Contact your wedding venue to talk about available dates in the future.

3. Also, check your vendor contracts to see if anything addresses cancellations or rescheduling.

Wedding planners and vendors from across the Valley are also hosting a live stream to help you in real-time.

"On Wednesday we're going to be doing a live Facebook to help brides and couples and their families to just ask questions about what they should do about the virus," says Helping Hand Parties & Weddings Owner Erica Thimsen.

The live-stream will start April 8th, and will stream every Wednesday at 3 p.m. CST. You can access the live-stream on this Facebook page - 'The Bridal Bunch'.
