COVID-19 Testing Thrive Alabama

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Thrive Alabama will now offer drive-up COVID-19 testing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. in its Huntsville office.

No appointment of physician order is required. You don't need insurance to be tested. If you have insurance, no co-pay is required. If you are uninsured, you will not be charged. Patients will be called at the number they provide on the order form with the test results.

Testing is for people 6 years of age or older.

Thrive Alabama says that people are asked to self-quarantine while waiting for test results and that due to the overwhelming demand for COVID-19 testing, they can't guarantee how quickly results will be available from the commercial lab.

Thrive reminds everyone that if a person tests positive for COVID-19, they will need to continue to self-quarantine per CDC/Alabama Department of Public Health protocols. Members of the individual’s household and others who are in close contact do not necessarily need to be tested but should also self-quarantine.

Schedule subject to change due to weather or test availability.
